South Africa, it's about to start getting even tougher. This is bound to affect our country to a large degree, not just economically or unexpected strain on our health sector. I don't know if I've watched too many movies or if I just have a vivid imagination, but I feel like we're in for some scary events in the next few weeks, maybe even months...
Try to find joy and peace in the little things and don't let being isolated drive you insane. This is for the greater good and our leader is putting his people before profits 👏🏼
Please don't be selfish during this time, adding friction to an already fragile situation, is bound to make South Africa feel like it's entering an apocalypse. We have all seen how large groups of our people act irrationally when they are unhappy with different departments within our country. I'm talking about riots...
This situation is affecting the ENTIRE nation, it doesn't have a "niche market".
And we have already had issues with people who are confirmed carriers, refusing to go into Quarantine. Now imagine this at a much larger scale, there are stubborn people out there that will try and stand up to our law enforcers. Even something as simple as an alcoholic having alcohol withdrawals, doing something irrational to be able to fix his habit to feel better, or acting even more irrationally if he's intoxicated during a sensitive situation. Or maybe there are individuals out there who cannot stand being alone at home and thrive on having their social life kept alive.
There are millions of people in our country and we have already seen how quickly it is spreading. Just try to be smart and think about the nation, rather than your own selfish needs or desires, just for a little while. Self reflection on the human race is what we need right now.
Something that kind of puts me at ease when I think about finances during this time, is, initially we were intended to live without attachment to anything, especially physical things. Humans were put on the earth without money being naturally present, the greed of humans and unfortunately, the cycle of world business, has made humans obsessed with money and flashy things.
We were originally intended to survive without these luxuries and that evil paper stuff that makes us all so happy!
